In the Northern Hemisphere, the optimal tilt angle for the solar panel during charging is approximately equal to the latitude of the location, with a margin of error of about ±5°. Optimal Installation Distance For optimal lighting effect, install the lights at a distance of 5 to 7 feet from the objects being illuminated. In the Northern Hemisphere, the optimal solar panel tilt angle is roughly the local latitude (±5°). Optimal Path-Lighting Pattern When using a staggered path lighting approach, we recommend installing the lights about 7ft away from other lights.
